Each and every garment offered is Carbon Neutral. These items have a Carbon Value (or CV) assigned that indicates the carbon footprint that the specific design has made on the environment. This number is calculated by various factors, including the textile's origin and ingredients, the country of manufacture, and the final destination. For each CV, there is a corresponding percentage of the sale that is donated to organizations that offset greenhouse gases. A portion of each sale goes into a "Fair Carbon" fund, which will help to fund the Sun Power Project™ in Nicaragua.
We also offer a carbon calculator where you have the opportunity to purchase "Carbon Offsets" that will help to neutralize travel, home heating and electric, and the carbon that your car contributes. Please take a moment to figure out your general carbon use, and offset it with a donation to our Sun Power Project™. We thank you for your continuing support in helping our planet. |
| In addition, our website utilizes wind-power web hosting. We are a part of Austin's Green Energy Program, which powers us through Texas wind-farms! Our company car is a VW Golf TDI that uses bio-diesel. We hope to continue to find new ways to help carbon emissions through out our business. |
